So far we know that the 2024 Land Cruiser will be available in three trims – Land Cruiser 1958, Land Cruiser, and First Edition. The 1958 and First Edition have vintage-inspired exterior designed details, including circular LED headlights, whereas the Land Cruiser offers modern LED headlights. All three feature a black “TOYOTA” heritage grille and rear Land Cruiser badge plus front rear frame-mounted tow hooks and a front skid plate to protect the engine. If you know you are going to be exploring rugged terrain in MI or beyond, the First Edition includes rock rails, heavy-duty mud guards, and roof rails with a cargo basket to hold extra gear.

Performance

Since we hinted at the engine, let’s take a look at the muscle that will be powering your adventures behind the wheel of the 2024 Land Cruiser. Toyota has brought this model back poised for the current era with a 2.4L 4-cylinder i-FORCE MAX Hybrid powertrain. It’s able crank out an impressive 326-hp and 465 lb.-ft. of torque along with a 6,000-lb. maximum towing capacity¹. As you log trips on the highway, the hybrid part of this engine system helps optimize efficiency with an estimated 22/25 MPG city/hwy². The traction control comes from a full-time 4WD system with standard 5-speed Crawl Control (CRAWL)3 and Off-Road Turn Assist. Interior details for the 2024 Land Cruiser are both elevated and technologically advanced. All three trims have two rows of seating with generous legroom to accommodate five passengers comfortably.
